CESA 8's Darla Brink recently facilitated a Language and Literacy Academy session as part of a seven-day leadership training program. This Summer Academy is a comprehensive literacy training for all educators who work with early or struggling readers or English learners.

CESA 8's Darla Brink recently hosted a CESA 8 Leadership in Literacy Institute session. This work fulfills the criteria for ACT 20 training required for elementary principals and district reading specialists. The institute encompasses six days of face-to-face training plus four virtual coaching sessions.

Our own Dean Leisgang was a featured speaker at CESA U last week. Dean's presentation highlighted the importance of being a brand ambassador for your organization.


Look at this great group. CESA 8 teammates took a session break at CESA U for a team dinner. This group does a lot of the behind-the-scenes work for us and we appreciate all the hard work they put in.


This week CESA 8, CESA 9, and CESA 12 came together to put on a professional development workshop for support staff. Topics covered at CESA U featured presentations on leadership, communications, and action planning.
