April 30th is National Apprenticeship Day. This is a great time to showcase our Northwoods YA Consortium. Our team provides opportunities for students to learn on the job, earn credits for working, and even leave school to go to work!
For the 2024-2025 school year, 133 students are enrolled in Youth Apprenticeships from 16 school districts with 105 active employers. These students are getting a jumpstart on their careers and growing their bank accounts! The average hourly wage for the students in our program is $13.74 per hour, which equates to an estimated $822,500 in earnings across the program.
If you want to explore this great opportunity, please contact Brooke Holbrook at (920)676-8065 or bholbrook@cesa8.org.
