
On August 3, 1990, President George H. W. Bush declared the month of November as "National American Indian Heritage Month," now more commonly known as Native American Heritage Month.


In 2024, daylight saving time ends on Sunday, Nov. 3, at 2 a.m. local time. The day will fall back one hour to 1 a.m.

What was your favorite Halloween costume as a kid or an adult?


We had a very busy day at CESA 8, with five different groups collaborating. We had 78 people from the SLP, School Psychologists, OT, PT, and VI groups. They spent the morning together reviewing DPI Updates and collaborating about IEP Connections. After lunch, they broke off into their own groups to network.

October 21st to 25th is recognized as National School Bus Safety Week. We have created a news story on our website with helpful reminders to ensure we keep all our kids safe.


CESA 8 recently hosted its first Transition Fair at the College of Menominee. The event showcased resources available to students with disabilities after high school. Over 40 business and non-profit partners and students from seven regional school districts attended.
