Students with visual impairments recently participated in an Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) lesson at Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary. The students practiced their orientation and mobility (O&M) skills while learning about pond habitats using auditory and tactile senses. The outing brought together students from nine different districts receiving vision services provided by CESA 8 Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVI) and O&M Specialists.
