The Bowler School District Board of Education is proud to announce the appointment of Troy Krause as the district’s next Superintendent, effective July 1, 2026. Mr. Krause joins the district with an impressive administrative background, having held leadership roles in Cuba City and, most recently, serving as a Principal within the Lomira School District. For Mr. Krause, this appointment marks an exciting homecoming, as he grew up in the nearby Shawano area and is eager to return to his roots to serve the students, families, and community.

The Board of Education would like to extend its sincere gratitude to the staff representatives whose insights and participation were invaluable throughout the interview process. Their dedication helped ensure a collaborative search that led to the selection of a leader aligned with the district's vision for student success. The Board is incredibly eager to begin working alongside Mr. Krause, confident that his experience and local ties will foster a vibrant and successful future for the Bowler School District.

As the district prepares for this new chapter, it also celebrates the remarkable tenure of outgoing Superintendent Glenda Butterfield-Boldig, who has served Bowler with unwavering dedication since July 1, 2021. Her commitment to the district has left a lasting impact, and the Board thanks her for her years of service and leadership. While she will be missed, we wish her the very best as she transitions into her new role with the Clinton School District. Please join us in welcoming Troy Krause and thanking Glenda for her years of service to our schools.
