Team Editor

This member is in charge of making sure that work is accomplished each day so   that the book will be ready on time.    Everyone must agree on the poems and artwork that will be included in the sample book before it "published" for our board members.  The team editor is responsible for making sure that solutions (compromises) can be made when team members cannot agree on a selection.  The final presentation of the book will be given by the team editor.  (Team Editor: You may be asked to explain why some of the poems are in your sample book. You should make sure that you know why each poem was chosen for this collection.)

 Resource Manager

This member is in charge of keeping track of the resources used, and borrowed from.   This would also be the best member to keep the team's copies of poems so that all of the work will be together to use each day.  Other team members should check with the resource manager to prevent  repeating the work that has already been done.

Graphics Manager

This member is in charge of making sure that illustrations are collected to go with the poems in your sample book.  All illustrations should have something to do with the poem.  (Do not put a picture of a  duck with a poem about a horse.)  Illustrations can be gathered from the computer, or be drawn by the team members.  No cut and paste pictures please.  The graphics manager is not to do all of the drawing, or collecting, but they are responsible for seeing that the illustrative work is being completed.   Each team member should make a contribution to the collection of art with the poems.

Typists/ Final Copy Writer

                    When all of the poems are collected, and the illustrations have been chosen, this  team member is in charge of either:

 A)   Typing the poems and positioning the computer images on the page.

 B)    Hand copying the poems on the pages that have already been illustrated.

C)     Typing the poems and then delivering them to the Graphics Manager for illustrations.

  Remember that this team member is only in charge of seeing that the work is finished in a neat and organized way.  The typist/ copy writer should have help with the completion of this project.
