Introduction

Hello, Boys and Girls!

My name is Dr. Mike Robeliminator, M.D. I am a pediatrician, which is a fancy name for a doctor of kids. Lately my office has been filled with sick children from all over the world. I am worried because there is no way I can help all of them myself.

I've decided to sponsor a contest for kids to develop an infomercial to be shown on my brand new wide-screen TV located in the lobby of my clinic. I would like students from all over the United States to join my creative team and produce their very own infomercial! As a member of my creative team you will investigate many kinds of germs, how germs spread and how to stay healthy.

If your creative team produces the winning infomercial you will win a week-long tour to promote the infomercial. Of course, you will have to miss school!

What do you say? Can I count on you to help me to wipe out germs and help younger children stay healthy?
