Process
| To accomplish the task, the group will: | ![]() |
1. Choose individual roles described in the Task section of the WebQuest.
2. Click on the link and print a copy of the rubric for each member of the group. Study the rubric so that you know what is expected of you.
3. Go to the page and choose a link to a continent and click on it.
4. Look at the list of sports and click on one that is interesting to you.
5. Read about the sport and decide if you want to present that sport to the class.
6. If you do not want to present the sport, return to the list and look at another sport. You may change to another continent if you wish.
7. If you want to present the sport, click on the link and print one copy of the guide sheet for the Recorder.
8. The Recorder should follow the links for the chosen sport, recording information and completing the guide sheet.
9. The Artist should begin work on the visual part of the presentation.
10. The Musician should begin writing a song or poem about the sport. A typed handout with the words should be prepared for the class.
11. The Activity Leader should print a copy of the Activity Planning Sheet and begin work on the activity.
12. Revise and proofread your work. Make sure that your final copy does not have any errors.
13. Practice
your presentation as follows:
a. The Recorder shares the
information collected on the
guide sheet.
b. The Artist shows the artwork
and describes what the
class
is "seeing."
c. The Musician distributes the
handout and reads the
poem or
leads the group as they sing the song.
d. The Activity Leader
organizes the class and teaches
the
lead-up activity.
14.Make changes to the presentation if they are needed.
15.Give your presentation to the class.
16.Complete the Student Reaction Form.
17.Hand in your
work following this checklist:
____ All rough drafts with
evidence of proofreading and
revision (you need a minimum of 2 rough drafts).
____ Completed guide sheet
____ Completed activity
planning sheet
____ Completed student reaction
form from each member
of the group.
____ A copy of each handout
that was given to the class.
