Business Skill Survey |

The educational community has heard loud and clear that many
young people are entering the workforce lacking necessary skills
for employment success. If you take your car in for service, a
good mechanic will work with you to identify specifically what
is wrong before continuing diagnostics and repair. We are the
mechanics and you are the customer. Please tell us specifically
what you feel is the problem.
We have heard students are lacking communication skills, math
skills, people skills, and others. To help you find better
employees, please help us identify specific skills that
are issues for many current and prospective employees you are
seeing. Results from this survey will be used by local schools
to enhance instruction.
Please identify specific skills you find
commonly lacking by placing a checkmark
by “Yes” it is an issue; “No” it is not an issue, or NA (Not
Applicable). If you have an extra moment, examples of what you
expect versus what is happening would be extremely valuable.
Write them where you can on this survey, or use a separate piece
of paper. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
