Student Mini-Grants

This Department of Public Instruction Initiative is facilitated by the CESA 8 Healthy Schools Communities and Related Programs Department. This program currently provides for up to $1,000.00 to fund projects that are written by or in conjunction with students for the purpose of enhancing their districts ATOD or Violence Reduction Prevention Programs. Since this initiative was introduced, virtually every school district within our CESA 8 region has received one or more Student Mini-Grants.

Interested districts will receive relevant materials in August.  Completed Student Mini-Grant Applications are due to CESA 8 in September with the award notifications released to districts in November. Individual buildings within a school district may apply for up to $1,000.00 under this grant program. There are no limitations on the number of buildings that may apply within any given district. If you would like more information about this CESA 8/D.P.I.
